The God Delusion - Richard Dawkins

The God Delusion is a 2006 bestselling non-fiction book by British biologist Richard Dawkins, professorial fellow of New College, Oxford, and inaugural holder of the Charles Simonyi Chair for the Public Understanding of Science at the University of Oxford.

In The God Delusion, Dawkins contends that a supernatural creator almost certainly does not exist and that belief in a personal god qualifies as a delusion, which he defines as a persistent false belief held in the face of strong contradictory evidence. He is sympathetic to Robert Pirsig's observation in Lila that "when one person suffers from a delusion it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called religion.

The Blind Watchmaker by Richard Dawkins

The Blind Watchmaker is a 1986 book by Richard Dawkins in which he presents an explanation of, and argument for, the theory of evolution by means of natural selection. He also presents arguments to refute certain criticisms made on his previous book The Selfish Gene.

In his choice of the title for this book, Dawkins makes reference to the watchmaker analogy made famous by William Paley in his book Natural Theology. Paley, arguing more than fifty years before Charles Darwin published The Origin of Species, held that the complexity of living organisms was evidence of the existence of a divine creator by drawing a parallel with the way in which the existence of a watch compels belief in an intelligent watchmaker. Dawkins, in contrasting the differences between human design and its potential for planning with the workings of natural selection, therefore dubbed evolutionary processes as analogous to a blind watchmaker.

Contradiction in Qur'an

Abul Kasem wrote this e-book which is divided into 10 articles. In this book he find out numerous contradiction in the Qur'an. Lets see in his own writings:
This guide is a compilation of contradictory verses in the Qur’an, the holiest book of Islam. Muslims consider the Qur’an as the infallible words of Allah, free of any ambiguities, contradictions, errors and irrationalities. This guide will demonstrate that far from being perfect, free of ambiguities and errors, the Qur’an is replete with hundreds of contradictory statements that will surprise the critical readers of the Qur’an. It is unbelievable that an omnipotent, omniscient, all‑knowing, and all‑powerful Allah will have such a demented intellect to construct so many contradictory passages.

Islamic Voodoos

This book probes into the traditions, customs, practices, and rites of Islam, which are largely based on Arab Bedouins’ society of Muhammad's time. In a modern world, these Islamic customs and traditions are no more than superstitious beliefs and irrational acts—better known as voodoo practices. These Islamic Voodoos encompass practically every aspect of a Muslim’s life—from birth to death. There are Islamic voodoos , for angels animals, biology, sorcery, resurrection, soul, Satan, hygiene, women, medicine, toilet practices and so on. Sourcing from the founts of Islam, such as the Qur'an and ahadith, we learn that much of what the Muslims believe to be divine, pure, salubrious, and supernatural actually have no scientific or rational basis.

What respect really is ?

Respect is what? How will we recognize respect? Is it external appearance or the body language? Is it fear or something else? In a country like Bangladesh the respect is nothing but FEAR. If u smoke cigarette before an elderly person then you are nothing but impolite. But is that so?
If you keep long hair for style or whatever the reason is, in our country you will be regarded as impolite or plebeian. The million dollar question is what is the problem? Can a long hair even harm a fly? A person who usually smoke, if he come across of an elderly person he has to banned off the cigarette. But is it good? In fact the tendency of hiding something natural is not good for anyone. It can be harmful for the mental health of that person.

If you ask someone why smoke in front of an elderly person or keep long hair is a sign of impoliteness? And ask him answer logically, be sure he will fail to answer. Not only he, anyone of this world will fail to answer that logically. Because there is no logical answer to refute this question.

Whom should i respect to?Is that the age of a person that he spent before my birth or the giving of something that someone deserve? If we have to respect the elderly people then i have to respect Hitler also. But is he a person of respect? If a bad person of your area is elderly than you, what will your expression after looking at him? Will you respect him or ignore him at the first glance? For sure you will do the latter. Then what are we respecting actually?

What we need is CHANGE.The wind of change. We need educated person. Not that every literate person is educated. We don't need literate person but we need more educated person. An literate person is not capable off giving anything to the nation where an educated person certainly can.Anyone can be literate but not everyone can be an educated. We hope one day the fear in the name of respect will be only myth.

The religion war, A book by Scott Adams

The Religion War (ISBN 0-7407-4788-6) is a 2004 novel by Dilbert creator Scott Adams, and the sequel to his novella God's Debris. This book takes place right before the last chapter of that book.

The delivery man from the first book, who is now the Avatar, must stop an epic clash of civilizations between the Western world, led by Christian extremist General Horatio Cruz, and the Middle East, led by Muslim extremist Al-Zee.

God's Debris: A Thought Experiment

God's Debris: A Thought Experiment is a 2001 novella by Dilbert creator Scott Adams.
God's Debris espouses a philosophy based on the idea that the simplest explanation tends to be the best (a corruption of Occam's Razor). It surmises that an omnipotent God annihilated himself in the Big Bang, because an omniscient God would already know everything possible except his own lack of existence, and exists now as the smallest units of matter and the law of probability, or "God's debris", hence the title.
